WHO ARE WE?
QBX QUADBIKE is dedicated to the technological development, production, and sale of its Quadbikes.
We are a Frenchoffer downhill or mixed tours, sports seminars in Quadbikes, with friends, families, or colleagues. Fun, comfortable, safe and accessible to all, our four-wheel all-terrain quadricycle, unique in the world, is an activity in its own right. The “Assemblé en France” quality of our avant-garde products is based on years of experience and know-how, with the utmost respect for the environment.
Designer
QBX QUADBIKE has its own integrated design office. Hugues ESCARGUEL is in charge of the study part and at the origin of the concept of the Quadbikes. Since his desire for new sensations in 1999, Hugues took 4 years to develop CAD (computer-aided design) concept, more than 3,000 hours of research and development. In 2003, the prototype was able to make its first rounds of wheels. In 2006, Hugues launched the first production of 50 units.
In 2012, sensitive to the need of the market, Hugues developed the first generation Hybrid of Quadbikes.
In 2015, the second generation of Hydrid with the integration of a new pedal motor (multi-sensor) and battery for more performance and autonomy. The research and development section is still active, in order to better meet the demand. This optimization is daily based on feedback from our operators and Quadbikers.
ASSEMBLER
The semi-industrial strategy is the strength of QBX workshops. This one is based on the automobile model. We are assemblers of the parts we have designed.
The manufacture of the more than 150 pieces that make up the Quadbike is industrial. This is a strategic choice because we benefit from the high expertise of our suppliers through their respective businesses: machining, laser cutting, welding, foundry …
Thus, it allows us to concentrate more effectively on our core business whose assembly makes integral part.
We use the Volvo method, a small machine group operator, in star mode. A table in the center with tools, parts and Quadbikes around, including a part of Taylorism.
COMMERCIAL
QBX QUADBIKE is an engineer brand. The creator Hugues ESCARGUEL had to open his field of competences with the help of durable commercial partnerships. Our commercial strategy is based on a qualitative approach, favoring close contact.
We like our future customers, operators or individuals to take the initiative to ride in Quadbike to make their own opinion. We assist future operators in setting up their business in terms of: geographical locations, profitability, financing, management training, maintenance …
EXPLOITING
In 2007, trained by his first professional client, Bertrand FERRERE at QBR in Reunion, Hugues ESCARGUEL added a know-how with the creation of his own exploitation on the Ski Resort Font Romeu Pyrennées 2000 (66) and in Carcasonne – Black Mountain (11).
These many years of operation allowed him to better talk about this business to future farmers. In addition, it allows to test the novelties on the technical level.
